Thanks for posting this Ryan. It's good info on something that's been frustrating me lately. I don't know if you went through the trouble, but I peeked at the source and the "upgrade" button on this page (mentioned above): http://drmlicense.one.microsoft.com/Indivsite/en/indivit.asp?force=1 is calling a javascript funtion BeginIndiv() which is sending you to a number of URLs which it seems re-install media player. I just tried the first one.. I have media center version 2002. http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=49282 So we'll see how it goes... thanks again.

Oops. Looks like I was premature. Now getting “Restricted Content” on USA Network.

Thanks for the fix for “Restricted Content” in Media Center. It seems to have solved my problem, at least after 10 minutes. My MC remote doesn’t seem to work for channels, but I can deal with that or work around it.
Thanks again! A surge took out my TV, and I’m using the PC until I replace it.
